Fish species: trout and perch

The Rensenn lake is quite shallow, especially along the northern shore. There is good fishing around the whole lake. There are no clear trails around the water, but it’s not difficult to navigate your way around. From ashore, there are nice fishing spots especially at the southern and eastern side where rivers enter into or out of the lake. Fishing from a boat (without motor), however, probably will give the best results. Worm and float/bobber are recommended methods at Rensenn. Fly fishing is difficult without waders. Rensenn is also a good ice fishing water.

Directions:
From the E16, exit by the Ulnes church and follow the signs towards Vaset and Panoramavegen (toll road). Continue on the same road for approx. 7.5 km after the toll station.
