Herangtunet Boutiqe Hotel
In the pine forest on the bank of Lake Heggefjorden hides magical Herangtunet Boutique Hotel. The wooden buildings are collected from nearby farms by local driving forces to preserve the cultural heritage of the area. The restaurant, too, is someting very special: the floor is made of old cheese boards and the gourmet menu boasts local dishes and ingredients. The hotel has a wood fired sauna and jacuzzi in a small cabin with a view into the forest! Fosstopp
In the treetop cabins of Fosstopp you get to stay in the middle of nature, with the forest and the river as your neighbours. The large glass windows allow nature to enter inside, and even though you stay in the top of a tree there's no lack of comfort! The cabins are modern and tastefully furbished. Fondsbu Turisthytte

Piltingsrud Gard
At the farm Piltingsrud Gard you can enjoy an authentic farm stay with accommodation in the old wooden farm buildings which have been restored and equipped with modern comfort, but still hold the historical, rustique charm. You can also participate in the daily chores and help with the feeding of the farm animals. On the menu you find food of the farm's own produce!
Ellingbø Gard
Summer farming is still practiced in Valdres, and at Ellingbø Gard in Vang you can stay in a cozy summer farm hut and experience the authentic summer farm. Skrukkefyllhaugen
A small wooden cabin in the heart of the wilderness area of Vassfaret, just as it stood at this particular spot before it burnt down in the 1800s. In the same very simple standard just as people lived in Vassfaret 100 years ago. Skrukkefyllhaugen has an idyllic location with a fishing lake and a canoe just beyond the cabin. It is available for rent throughout the whole year.
Vasetstølen
At Vasetstølen you can stay in an old wooden cabin from the 18th century and devour traditional homemade food in the main buiding with its cozy, rustique charm. There are also newer cabins for rent, so please specify when booking. At Vasetstølen you stay in the middle of the largest summer farming region in Norway during summer and a cross-country skiing eldorado during winter.
Grønebakke Gard
Stay in the "old house" at Grønebakke Gard from 1850. Here you are in the countryside on the sunny side of the hill and at the same time centrally located in regard of what the Valdres region has to offer, with the main town Fagernes being only a 15 minutes drive away.
