Shopping in Fagernes

Fagernes is the trading centre of the Valdres region. There are several small street stores, cozy restaurants, the Fagernes Shopping Mall and Gjensidigegården, a smaller shopping and business centre.

It's a small town, but you will discover many nice shops with quality merchandise and good service. Fagernes is also beautifully located by Strandefjorden with a nice park, playground, recreation area and walking distance to the Valdres Folk Museum. You can also hike to the top of Kviteberg and enjoy a spectacular view of the area. (Only 1.5 hrs in total).
