Shopping in Leira

The shopping mall, Amfi Valdres, is located in Leira, 4.5 km south from Fagernes and visible from the E16 and road 51 towards Gol. You will find 20 stores and a café inside the mall, and some larger chain stores in separate buildings in the same area.

Leira and Fagernes are connected by a beautiful pedestrian road (for walking and cycling) along the Strandefjorden lake. In the area of Leira there are several camping sites, a small beach and swimming area, as well as nice fish spots and cycling routes.
