Fish species: trout and perch

Buaråne is a river of approx. 1 km in length between the lakes Mosvatnet and Storfjorden. It runs quitely and consists of both shallow and deep holes. The eastern bank is easiest to fish from. Try out worms, dry and wet flies as well as small lures as bait. Once a year, Vestre Slidre Fjellstyre arranges a public fishing day at the Buaråne, usually the second Sunday in July.

Directions
From the E16, exit by the Ulnes church and follow the signs towards Vaset and Panoramavegen (toll road). Continue on the same road in the direction of Nøsen and turn right by the waste containers, a few hundred meters before you reach Nøsen Fjellhotell. Keep going for another 4 km until you reach the road crossing at the river Buaråne.
