Fish species: trout

Vasetvatnet is relatively shallow, ideal for fly fishing from both land and boat. Walkway around most parts of the lake and the fishing spots are clearly marked. Fishing with worm is not allowed. Fish that are marked or that are more than 40 cm should be released due to cultivation. You will only find trout in Vasetvatnet, but in good size. Directions
From Fagernes, follow the E16 west towards Ulnes. Exit by the Ulnes church and follow the signs to Panoramavegen and Vaset.
