Drive on E16 to Sørum. Exit and drive over Hougsrud Bridge and turn right towards Begna bruk (logging and saw). Turn left at Begna bruk onto Buvassvegen towards Fluberg and approx. 600 m after the bridge over the river Buvasselva, exit to the right onto a forest road signed towards Puttekollen (toll road). Park at the end of the road at the turning space and walk back 100 m to the trail head.  

The signed path climbs steadily but not too steep uphill. From the top, there’s a stunning view down into the valley Begnadalen, but mind the abyss (especially with children)! Another 500 m further south, at the end of the mountain, there’s another viewpoint from where you can see all the way to the lake Sperillen.
