Fish species: Trout and arctic char

Busuvatnet is known as one of the best char fishing waters in Valdres.
Fishing with rod is the only possibility and both flies and lure will give the best results. This is also a popular water for ice fishing in the winter.

Directions:
From the E16 in Sør-Aurdal, exit towards Hedalen and follow the sign towards the Hedalen stave church. You pass the church on road 223 and continue for approx. 8 km. Turn left towards Søbekksetervegen (toll road). Parking at the end of the road. From there, a 500 meter walk to Busuvatnet.
