Follow the E16 to Tollefsrud in Begnadalen and exit onto road 225 to Hedalen. At the junction with road 243 through Hedalen, you can either turn left towards Bautahaugen Samlingar (2.8 km) or right towards Hedalen Stave Church (1.8 km), depending on which direction you want to walk. There are good parking possibilities at either starting point.

This is a nature- and culture walk between the Hedalen Stave Church and the Bautahaugen  Museum. The walk is well signed. A part of the route follows the very first road through Hedalen, from approx. 1840. Information boards can be found along the route.

It’s also possible to park by the exit to Begnadalen (at “Lokalet”) for a shorter walk.
