The Etna river is a popular fishing river. The 30 km stretch between Ton and Høljerast is varied. North of Lundebrua (bridge) there are waterfalls and rapids, but the area south of the bridge is much calmer. The variation gives you a good selection of fishing locations for flies, worm and spoon lure. 50 meters above and below the Høljerast bridge, fishing is not allowed.
The license is valid for fishing with rod from land in the period from 01. May until 31. August
Directions:
From Fagernes, follow the E16 to Bjørgo. Exit on road 33 towards Lillehammer/Gjøvik and follow the sign to Bruflat. From Bruflat, follow road 251 along the riverside.
