From Bruflat, follow road 251 north through Etnedal and exit to the right onto a gravel road signed Garin/Svilosen. Follow this road until you have passed Nyhus. 

From the parking area just after Nyhus, follow the marked trail to the south. After approx. 500 m, you meet a gravel road and continue on it almost to its end. When the road curves to the right, an unmarked but clearly visible path exits to the left into the forest. You pass by an old summer farm in the valley Kristofferdalen that was in use until 1967. Once you have crossed this small valley, there is a short steep passage before the path turns sharp left and leads along the ridge to the summit point which consists of a boulder. There is a wide view especially over the Etnedal and Nordre Land municipalities.
