From road 51 between Leira and Gol, exit onto Tisleivegen towards Brattstølen near the Joker convenience store. Park the car at the base of the skiing hill.

For the start, you have two options:
1) Go up the ski hill and take the track to the left towards Hermannshovda (keep straight/right in the next crossing after approx. 500 m).
2) Continue along the road towards Hermannstølen until the track from Vasetstølen to Brattstølen crosses. Turn right towards Brattstølen and then left in the crossing towards Hermannshovda. This choice is less steep but longer.

In the crossing east of Hermannshovda, turn right towards Liastølen. The track ascends slightly all the way. Keep straight ahead in the next crossing after approx. 700 m and pass Liaset. 2 km later, turn right. Now it is 1 km flat over the swamp to Gribbehaugen (a small side trip out of the track to the summit point).
Now you turn south towards Gjølmyr and enjoy a slight downhill run over more than 2 km before the track turns right and flattens out after having passed Gjølmyr to the crossing north of Hermannshovda. Turn left and left once more back to Brattstølen parking.
