Follow road 51 towards Gol and park by the Fjellbu convenience store (Joker). Continue along Tisleivegen (gravel road) on foot. After approx. 300 m, turn right on a path towards Gribbe. At Brattstølen, you reach a gravel road that you follow to Gjølmyr. Turn left, and after approx. 400 m, turn right onto another gravel road that converts into a tractor trail, leading to the summit of Gribbehaugen (1057 m.a.s.l.). When returning, choose the path/tractor trail east from where you came up, and back to Gjølmyr. From there you return on the same route as you came.

It is also possible to cycle this route, with a few walking stretches. Nice mountain tour in an open terrain and a panoramic view of Valdres and Jotunheimen.
