About

The Tisleia river stretches from the Tisleia fjord and 16 km down the Tisleidalen valley. The river has some powerful rapids, but also calmer areas. This is a popular river for fishing and you will find many great locations, and fly-fishing, spinner and worm are recommended baits. The westernmost km of the Tisleia river is not included in the «Fisking i Valdres» pass. You will need the local fishing licence in this area. Changes to the water level can occur. Directions
From Fagernes, follow the E16 to Leira. From there, road 51 towards Gol. At Bjørkestølen, you reach the Tisleia river.
