About

The 65 km cross country track from Beitostølen to Danebu also is known under the name "Valdres Skimaraton", a cross country skiing race on the same track. 

Tour description
The starting point is at Beitostølen center at the start of the ski track "Red 1". Follow the "Red 1" counterclockwise until you reach the crossing southeast of Olevatnet, where you turn right towards Yddin and Vangsjøen. Later, following the signs towards Danebu, you pass north of the mountain Rundemellen and south of the hill Skardåsen. Continue via Kruk and Pilset to Danebu.

The connecting tracks between the different track networks are normally groomed from medio Februrary until Easter or as long as the snow conditions allow.

Access
There's public transport between Aurdal and Beitostølen, but not between Danebu and Aurdal, which means that you either need to take a taxi from Danebu to Aurdal or need to park a car at Danebu.
