From road E16, exit to Leira sentrum, follow Månovegen (road) upwards and turn left onto a gravel road towards Skavelbygda. After 900m, turn left on a toll road towards Pilset and Smørlia. Drive for approx. 10 km, and after a sharp left turn you will find a few openings for parking on the left side of the road.

Walk on the gravel road that exits on your right. After about 400m, the road ends up by a mountain farm, and from there you follow a path. Cross the brook and continue on the path that will take you to the top.
