Nasjonalparkstien i Langsua
About
The National Park Walk in Langsua National Park is a 3.6 km long, easy round trip in open mountain landscape. The path is well marked with 10 slate plates with ingraved animal foot prints. It starts right at the large parking area in the mountain farm area Storeskag, leads along the foothills of the mountain Skaget (1685 masl.) and ends along the gravel road a couple hundred meters before the parking area. Along the way, you enjoy a great view towards the mountain Skaget, Mellene, Langsua and the Jotunheimen National Park.
8 of the 10 plates have foot prints of the tracks of animal species that live in the National Park:
- Moose
- Common Crane
- Stoat
- Wolverine
- Hare
- Reindeer
- Fox
- Ptarmigan
In addition, there are plates with a map of the National Park, human footprints and arrows that lead the way.
Enjoy your walk!
