Plankebue
About
Plankebue is an open cabin of simple standard that belongs to the Øystre Slidre Mountain Board. It is located in the Langsua Nationalpark, between the DNT-cabins Storeskag and Haldorbu. Plankebue has two bed spaces, a wood stove, firewood, gas cooker and the cutlery and tableware that you need to prepare and eat you food. There is also an outhouse. Water has to be collected from a water source nearby. A stay at Plankebue is NOK 100,- per night per adult. Children under 18 yrs are free. The cabin is unlocked, and anyone can use it. It cannot be booked in advance, so there is a chance it might be taken.
Directions
During summer you can reach Plankebue on a marked DNT-trail from the cabin Storeskag (rest area with information boards and large parking area). During winter, you have to ski in from the winter parking space at Selstølen close to Yddin.
