Titrebue
About
Titrebue is an open cabin of simple standard that belongs to the Øystre Slidre Mountain Board. It sits open and free in the low montane landscape in Langsua Nationalpark. One unit of Titrebue is open to everyone, while the other part is rented out through the webpage Inatur. Both units have a bunk bed, a wood stove, firewood, gas cooker and the cutlery and tableware that you need to prepare and eat your food. There is also an outhouse. Water has to be collected from a water source nearby. A stay at Plankebue is NOK 100,- per night per adult. Children under 18 yrs are free. The cabin is unlocked, and anyone can use it. The open unit cannot be booked in advance, so there is a chance it might be taken. For the rentable unit, see more on Inatur.
Directions
During summer it is a short hike on a DNT-marked path from Bjørnhølen along the toll road Jotunheimvegen. During late winter to Easter, you have to ski in from Bygdin.
