Haldorbu
About
Haldorbu was originally an old shepherd's hut, which has been renovated and now serves as a self-serviced DNT cabin all year around. The main cabin is still reserved for shepherds in the period 26. August to 5. September, but the second cabin is accessible to everyone with a DNT key. Haldorbu is beautyfully located on a summer farm in Haldorbu Protected Landscape close to Langsua National Park. You can often see free-grazing sheep around the cabin during the summertime. The cabin is located just below the tree-line, with a beautiful view towards Skaget. Easy and varied terrain makes Haldorbu a favourite for the whole family.
Facilities
There are six beds in the main cabin and ten beds in the second cabin. Both of the cabins have most of what you need to have a pleasant stay; bedspreads, food and kitchen appliances are there, but there is no electricity or running water. Dogs are not allowed in the main cabin, but there is facilitated with a dog cage in the second cabin.
