About

Yksendalsbu is a self-serviced DNT-cabin beautifully located in the Valley Yksendalen south of Jotunheimen. You can reach Yksendalsbu along the marked trails from Fondsbu and Bygdin. We recommend a stop at these full-serviced cabins before or after your trip for some delicious food (try the waffles or the Norwegian speciality "rømmegrøt"). There's also a marked trail from Tomashelleren.

Facilities
Yksendalsbu has 18 beds, and most of what you need for a pleasant stay; bedspreads, food and kitchen appliances, but there is no running water or electricity. Water can be fetched from a water source outside, candles light up the cabin and you can use the gas driven stove for coocking. Don't forget the DNT-key and bed sheets/sleeping bag. Please note that it is not permitted to have dogs inside the cabin, but there is a dog cage in the annex.
