Tyrishølt
About
Tyrishølt is an unattended DNT cabin which is located along the historical hiking route, Stølsruta. It is a family friendly area, with great views towards the mountains and free-grazing animals almost everywhere.
Facilities
At Tyrishølt there are eight beds, electricity and water outside on a tap. You need to bring your own bed sheets or sleeping bag, food and the DNT key. If you need to shop for groceries during your stay, Langestølen Kolonial is located about 4 kilometres away from the cabin. DNT Valdres has one bike for rent so it is easily accessible. NB. The store is only open during the summer holidays.
How to get there
You can either drive Panoramavegen or FV 51, and then turn towards Tisleivegen. Tyrisholtvegen is a side road to Tisleivegen, and it is not open for traffic during the winter season.
