About
Since the opening in 1930, Storefjell has be reknowned for its hospitality, good food, superb location and the range of activities. Today the third generation of the Nibstad family runs and owns the hotel.
Location
Storefjell lies beneath the top of the Golsfjellet mountain plateau between the valleys of Hallingdal and Valdres, in a lovely scenery with a great view.
Facilities
Storefjell Hotel has 300 roooms and spacious course and conference facilities for up to 1001 participants. All in all, the conference rooms at 4500 sqm are the largest venue in inland Norway for fairs, banquets, conferences, events and kick-offs. If needed, shuttlebuses inbetween all the hotels at Golsfjellet can further increase the capacity.
The hotel also has a restaurant, library, pianobar, night club, swimming pool with slide, fitnes room, solarium, convenience store, shuffleboard, table tennis and billiard.
Summer activities
Mini golf, pedal boats, hoseback riding, bicycle rental.
There are extensive cycling and hiking possibilities right outside our door, with well-marked trails. Storefjell also is the first or last accommodation along the popular long distance cycling route Mjølkevegen, which leads from Vinstra in Gudbrandsdalen through Valdres to Gol in Hallingdal.
Winter activities
200 km well-groomed cross-country skiing tracks, tobboggan and alpine hill and ski lift, horse-drawn sleigh ride.
