Lake Øyangen is located just a half hour drive from Fagernes City and 8 minutes from Beitostølen. Spend a half or a full day paddling as a couple, or with friends or family.

We have double “sit-on-top” kayaks. These are a steady type of kayak that doesn’t require a wet card certificate to rent, unlike other types of kayaks.

Kayaks are suitable for a couple or a family of 3. A family of 4 should most likely rent 2 kayaks, unless the kids are very small.

You can also rent a fish rod holder from us that we will pre-assemble to your kayak when you pick it up. Øyangen Lake is a very good lake for fishing Lake Trout. If you like fishing we encourage you to bring the equipment and try trolling from the kayak.

You can also rent fishing equipment from the local sport shop in Beitostølen.
To fish you will need a fishing license (children under 16 can fish for free)

Fishing licence can be purchased online. Let us know if you are interested and we´ll be happy to help you with the process.
